Reserve-A-Ride TransportationDo you have trouble getting where you need to go?If you do, Reserve-A-Ride Transportation may be able to help. What is Reserve-A-Ride Transportation?The Reserve-A-Ride program provides transportation options to individuals living in Clark County, Cowlitz County, and Wahkiakum County where public transportation is not available. The benefit of using the Reserve-A-Ride transportation program is to ensure access to services which reduces isolation and allows individuals to remain independent in their homes. If eligible, transportation is provided at no cost to the individual with the highest quality of customer service and dependable service delivery. EligibilityIf you are an older adult, disabled, or low-income resident of Clark, Cowlitz, or Wahkiakum County, and are unable to use transit services you may be able to receive help with Transportation. We will talk to you about your specific needs and match you with the type of provider that can best meet your needs at no cost to you. Covered Transportation ServicesWe provide transportation for individuals to life-sustaining medical appointments. Matching Rides with ProvidersWhen you request a ride, we determine the type of transport most suited to your abilities, locate the lowest-cost option given your needs, and arrange for service with one of our providers. We encourage group transports and shared rides. The most common types of transportation available include:
Scheduling a RideTo allow us time to schedule your ride, call our office at least two (2) working days before you need a ride. We can take requests up to 30 days in advance. We are available by phone Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm. However, transportation services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Information to Have Ready When You Call
When to Be Ready For a RideOn the day of your scheduled ride our transport may arrive up to 15 minutes before or after your scheduled pick-up time. For shared rides, you may be asked to be ready earlier than you expect. Note that unexpected delays may occur due to traffic congestion or weather conditions. How to Contact Us
